Who We Are
LoveMB Foundation was created by a group of community members to provide guidance and financial support for projects and programs within the City of Manhattan Beach. LoveMB is governed by a Board of Directors and is wholly independent of the City. The LoveMB Board is responsible for the management and disbursement of monetary and in-kind gifts made to the Foundation for the benefit of the community. Donations may be made toward projects and programs as well as general goals that contribute to and enhance the City’s beauty, history and connectivity.

Promoting Local Projects
We raise funds for municipal projects, supplementing traditional sources like tax revenue and municipal bonds.
Simplifying Community Giving
By providing a single 501(c)(3) entity, we make it easier for residents and organizations to contribute, eliminating the need for separate fundraising organizations and reducing administrative burdens.
Volunteer Driven Leadership
LoveMB is operated by unpaid volunteer residents of Manhattan Beach, who are passionate about making a difference.

We uphold strict policies to prevent conflicts of interest and strictly prohibit political campaigning.

Specific Objectives
LoveMB is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to supporting Manhattan Beach and its residents by:
To collaborate as public/private partners with the city on projects deemed worthy of fundraising. These projects may include renovations, restorations, new construction, services, programming or other activities within the city.
To market awareness of LoveMB as a non-profit resource and simple vehicle by which community members can donate to support projects and programs across Manhattan Beach.
To develop partnerships with individuals, regional/local organizations and enterprises also interested in collaborating in service and support of the local community and LoveMB.
To educate and promote the benefits of the wide variety of City activities, programs and open spaces for the community and its residents.
